The Big Data Neuroscience Workshop, an interactive workshop for big data analytics in neuroscience, will take place Thursday, Sept. 6, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday, Sept. 7, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Thwing Center.
Hosted by Case Western Reserve University, organized by the Advanced Neuroscience Network and funded by the National Science Foundation, the annual workshop brings together researchers in neuroscience, computer science, statistics and related disciplines to focus on managing Big Data, data sharing, high performance computing and using provenance metadata to support reproducible neuroscience research.
CWRU students can attend the conference at a discounted price of $25, which will cover lunch, snacks and drinks. The deadline to register, for students and others, is Monday, Sept. 3.
