Benefits Fair

The annual Benefits Fair will be held Nov. 6, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Nov. 7 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom.

Each November, during Open Enrollment, Case Western Reserve University sponsors the Benefits Fair, which gives employees the opportunity to speak with Benelect insurance carrier representatives, receive a free flu vaccination and get a hearing screening. A Case Western Reserve ID is required for hearing screenings and flu vaccines.

Computers will be available for employees to make their 2020 Benelect elections, and benefits staff will be on hand to answer questions.

Those who attend also will have an opportunity to enter a charity basket raffle sponsored by the Staff Advisory Council.

The 2020 Benelect Open Enrollment materials are available online. These materials are available to assist employees in making elections in the online enrollment system.

This year, a 2020 Health Plan Decision Tool is available.

The Health Plan Decision Tool was developed by J.B. Silvers, a nationally recognized health care expert on the faculty at the Weatherhead School of Management, that can be used to estimate the costs of each health insurance plan offered by the university. This is another means to assist faculty and staff as they review their options, allowing them to make informed decisions regarding the health insurance plan that is right for their individual needs. Access the Health Plan Decision Tool
