“Being an Ally”

The Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences’ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Learning Group invites all members of the Case Western Reserve University community to attend an upcoming session titled “Being an Ally.”

Held Thursday, Oct. 13, from noon to 1:30 p.m., this session will cover articles relevant to diversity issues in population health research, with a focus on learning how to include diverse perspectives in our research, and building new collaborations and networks together. The session will be held virtually via Zoom and in the BioEnterprise Building (Room 459B).

This group is a safe space for anyone who wants to expand their knowledge and skills related to diversity, equity and inclusion and is for people who are both new to these topics in research and those who have been working in this space already.

The learning group meets the second Thursday of each month.

Contact Rebecca Miller at rdm124@case.edu to be added to the calendar invite.
