Begun Center’s Karen Coen Flynn, Daniel J. Flannery write about actions to change culture of gun violence

Karen Coen Flynn, senior research associate at the Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education, and Daniel J. Flannery, the Semi J. and Ruth W. Begun Professor and director of the Begun Center, penned a piece on gun violence.

Their article, titled “We Can Change Our Culture of Gun Violence: Here’s How,” appeared on the Youth Today website.

In the piece, they detailed the eight actions outlined in the Call to Action to Prevent Gun Violence in the United States of America, which was developed by prevention scholars.
