Begun Center’s Daniel J. Flannery edits second edition of The Cambridge Handbook of Violent Behavior and Aggression; researchers author chapters

Several Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education researchers collaborated with other experts to create the second edition of The Cambridge Handbook of Violent Behavior and Aggression for Cambridge University Press. The text was edited by Daniel J. Flannery, director of the Begun Center and the Semi J. and Ruth W. Begun Professor, and featured chapters from research professor Mark S. Fleisher and senior research associates Rachel Lovell and Misty Luminais.

The chapters authored by Begun Center faculty are:

  • “Lessons learned: Serial sex offenders identified from backlogged sexual assault kits” by Lovell, Luminais and Flannery
  • “Social networks and violence” by Fleisher et al
  • “New directions in research on violence: Bridging science, practice and policy” by Flannery et al
