The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Center will offer two Safe Zone training sessions to interested students, faculty and staff.
The Safe Zone Program is a visible network of volunteers who are committed to creating a community of respect and dignity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning students, staff and faculty members. This makes it possible to easily identify individuals who are dedicated to an environment in which all people are free to thrive academically, professionally and personally.
All members of the campus community are invited to become Safe Zone members by attending one of two upcoming workshops Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m. in the Thwing Center 1914 Lounge.
An RSVP is required to lgbt@case.edu; indicate which session you would like to attend and what whether you are a faculty or staff member or student. Space is limited.
Customized Safe Zone workshops also are available to departments or groups. Contact Liz Roccoforte at ecr19@case.edu.
