Become a Green Dot facilitator and help others prevent personal violence

Editor’s note: The Green Dot Facilitator opportunity is no longer occurring as the university is moving in a different and exciting direction in terms of our violence prevention and education programming at CWRU. Look out for a new Violence Prevention series of workshops, events, art installations and volunteer opportunities launching later this fall that has been created and tailored specifically for the Spartan community. For more information about the upcoming series and ways to get involved please email Danielle Sabo at dnb31@case.edu.

The university’s Green Dot program, part of a national bystander intervention strategy effort, is recruiting new facilitators to provide training to the campus community on ways to prevent power-based personal violence.

A four-day certification program is being offered Dec. 16-19 at Kent State University.

All Case Western Reserve faculty and staff are eligible to become facilitators, but you must attend all four days of training to be certified
