Students are encouraged to take the service challenge and become a Center for Civic Engagement and Learning Civic Engagement Scholar.
Scholars commit to 50 community service hours during the academic year, as well as five workshops and trainings chosen from a variety of options.
Upon successful completion of the program, scholars will be awarded a certificate of distinguished service and attend a reception hosted by President Barbara R. Snyder. Online applications are due Sunday, Sept. 21, and the first training will take place on Friday, Sept. 26.
