Celebrate the conclusion of another academic year at “BBQ on Bellflower Court” Friday, May 19, from 4 to 11 p.m., at the former Barking Spider (11310 Juniper Road).
The Jolly Scholar will offer four barbecue options: beef brisket, barbecue back-ribs, white-barbecue chicken and chopped-pork sandwich. Weather permitting, picnic tables will be available for al fresco dining. There will be music and a variety of beverage options.
The event also will give the university community the opportunity to say goodbye to the Barking Spider, a former landmark that closed its doors in September after 30 years.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at tickets.case.edu.
