Battle of the Bands is an opportunity for student artists to showcase their talents and compete for a chance to open at Springfest, which will take place April 23. The top-rated performers will be selected to open for this year’s Springfest headliner.
Undergraduate students are invited to this free event Friday, Feb. 25, from 7 to 10 p.m in Thwing Center ballroom. There will be light snacks and refreshments offered at the event. The event will consist of 10-minute sets played by 10 bands composed of students from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Institute of Art and Cleveland Institute of Music. Attendees will be able to vote for their favorite band during the event.
