The eighth annual Back-to-School Supply Drive, hosted by the Staff Advisory Council’s Community Service Committee, is collecting donations. The drive will end Thursday, Aug. 16.
Last year, the drive gathered 62 boxes of back-to-school supplies, the most ever collected, for three Cleveland Metropolitan School District schools: Daniel E. Morgan Elementary School, Mary Bethune PreK-8 and Michael R. White STEM School.
The following supplies will be accepted through the drive:
- Art paint brushes
- No. 2 pencils
- Large, pink erasers
- Laddie pencils
- Blue, black and red pens
- Colored pencils
- Crayons
- Markers
- Construction paper
- Spiral and composition notebooks
- Notebook dividers with pockets
- Copy paper
- 1.5- or 1-inch three-ring binders
- Folders with or without pockets
- Compasses
- Protractors
- Rulers
- Glue sticks
- Scissors
- Scientific calculators
- Flash drives
- Wide- and college-ruled notebook paper
Cash donations also will be accepted.
