Northeast Ohio auto sales boom, growing at double the national rate

The Plain Dealer: Northeast Ohioans are buying new cars twice as quickly as others around the country. The sales of the Chevrolet Cruze, a vehicle made in the area, may be distorting numbers, said economics professor Robin Dubin. “There are a lot of people at the plant who’ve been buying the car, and there may be people in the community showing their support by buying it,” she said.
