The Writing Research Center will hold a workshop on “Research Papers: Using Evidence Effectively” Friday, April 10, from 12:35 to 1:35 p.m. in Bellflower Hall.
English lecturers Joseph DeLong and Matt Feinberg will lead the workshop.
The workshop will teach students more about the research process and how to select sources that meaningfully contribute to their arguments. DeLong and Feinberg will also discuss how to quote, paraphrase and respond to materials students discover during their research.
