Attend “Respect for Self” events as a part of Alpha Phi Omega’s National Service Week

In conjunction with Alpha Phi Omega’s National Service Week, the co-ed fraternity will host a week of programming open to the entire Case Western Reserve University community to promote the theme of “Respect for Self.”

Come to Nord Hall on Monday, Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a photo booth promoting self-respect and acceptance. Participants will be asked to write messages about what they like most about themselves; these messages will be displayed throughout the week.

On Thursday, Nov. 7, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at The Spot, de-stress with Case Holistic Health Club. Attendees will receive yoga instruction, tea, meditation instruction and information about living a relaxed life using stress management.

Finally, stop by Nord Hall on Friday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for a “Kindness Wheel” in partnership with Case Acts of Random Kindness. This is a day to inspire students to be kind to one another and make everyone’s day brighter.

In addition, APO encourages all student organizations, Greek chapters and students to get involved in the community with service.
