As part of the Impact Talk series, the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences invites all members of the campus community to join the upcoming Impact Talks sessions that will take place on the following Wednesdays:
- April 6, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.— The Neurobiology of Trauma: The Power of Relationships to Heal, with Jennifer King, assistant professor and co-director of the Center on Trauma and Adversity;
- April 13, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.—Nothing For Us Without Us: Building Authentic Community Relationships for Social Change, with Mark Chupp, associate professor and founding director of the Community Innovation Network;
Join online or in person in the Mandel School’s Noble Commons. Door prizes will be raffled off to those in attendance. Six students (three in person and one online) will have an opportunity to win one of the following prizes at each Impact Talk:
- 10-inch Android tablets
- Bluetooth wireless earbuds
