Faculty and staff are invited to join the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women for a discussion on the myriad personal and professional issues women face in the work environment.
Maike Philipsen, a professor at the Virginia Commonwealth University, will offer a new all-encompassing “life friendly” perspective, which speaks to the need to strive for balance in the lives of all women.
Philipsen will offer two sessions on Friday, March 20, in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248. Her first session, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., is for staff members. Her second session, from noon to 1:30 p.m., is for faculty members.
