Attend Autism Spectrum Disorder Conference June 18-19

Milestones Autism Resources will host the 13th annual Autism Spectrum Disorder Conference Thursday, June 18, and Friday, June 19, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cleveland I-X Center.

The conference will bring family members and professionals in the autism field together to share evidence-based practical strategies and best practices. Attendees can engage in more than 80 educational workshops focusing on practical, field-tested ideas.

Barry Prizant, director of Childhood Communications Services, and Sondra Williams, poet, author and speaker, will give the keynote addresses. The two-day event will also provide the opportunity to network and visit with 40 exhibitors featuring autism-specific products and services.

This year, the Milestones Conference will offer three sponsored tracks:

  • Adult Services Track, sponsored by Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities;
  • Medical Track, sponsored by Cleveland Clinic Children’s and University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital; and
  • Visual Supports & Technology Track, sponsored by Monarch Center for Autism.

Medical professionals including physicians, nurses, and physician assistants, can earn Continuing Medical Education (CME) in Medical Track sessions on both days. Continuing education is also available for seven additional disciplines.
