Cleveland Clinic vascular surgeon, nurse run NYC Marathon, raise money for John Ritter Foundation
The Plain Dealer: Tara Mastracci, assistant professor of surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and her teammate, Chad Hollis, ran the New York City Marathon as Team Ritter, raising money and awareness for the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health. “One of the challenges is that when people have sudden aortic dissection, it takes them by surprise,” said Mastracci. By raising awareness, she said, “We might be able to get them to treatment sooner.”
