Asian American Heritage Month Festival

The School of Medicine’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Excellence will celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month with a festival Tuesday, May 23, from 12:15 to 2 p.m. in the Biomedical Research Building.

The festival will begin with a keynote address by Naomi Sigg, vice president for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging at John Carroll University, who will present “Healing in Solidarity and Community Support.”

Following Sigg’s talk, there will be performances, tea tasting, origami, an Asian cuisine lunch and more.

The event is free and open to all.
