Case Western Reserve University’s Harvey Buchanan remembered as educator, arts leader
The Plain Dealer: Harvey Buchanan, professor emeritus of humanities and art history and provost emeritus, died last month. Catherine Scallen, the Andrew W. Mellon Professor of the Humanities, shared her memories of Buchanan. “He had a great smile and a twinkle in his eye and extraordinary energy late into his life,” she said.
