The Plain Dealer: Case Western Reserve University will completely revamp its doctoral program in art history at the Cleveland Museum of Art following two grants from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. “It’s incredibly exciting,” said Catherine Scallen, chair of the Department of Art History and Art. “We could help change doctoral education in art history with this program, and I think make it more relevant in the 21st century.”
