Support of Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors will host an event titled “Applying to Graduate School—and Writing Those Pesky Personal Statements.”
This panel discussion is primarily designed for students who are thinking of attending graduate school in STEM fields. Emily Pentzer, the Frank Hovorka Assistant Professor in Chemistry, and Ina Martin, director of the Materials for Opto/Electronics Research and Education Center, will cover the graduate school admissions process and the development of personal statements.
The discussion will be Friday, Feb. 16, from 12:45 to 2 p.m. in the Sears Library Building, Room 480.
