“Applying to Graduate School in the STEM Fields—and Writing Those Pesky Personal Statements”

Undergraduate students are invited to a seminar on the process for applying to graduate school in the STEM fields Friday, Oct. 26, from 12:45 to 2 p.m. in Sears Library Building, Room 439.

Ina Martin, director of the Materials for Opto/Electronics Research and Education Center, and Emily Pentzer, the Frank Hovorka Assistant Professor in Chemistry, will lead the session, titled “Applying to Graduate School in the STEM Fields—and Writing Those Pesky Personal Statements.”

Students also will receive help writing their personal statement.
