Apply to be a coach in the Emerging Leaders Program for first-year students

The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) is seeking leadership coaches for the program this fall.

ELP is a one-semester program geared toward first-year students to help them feel connected, confident, empowered and knowledgeable about themselves and their potential as a student leader on campus.

Each ELP participant is paired with a faculty/staff/graduate student coach who serves as a resource as the students navigate their first year at CWRU. Coaches are required to meet with their student(s) three times over the course of the fall semester. Additionally, there are two coaches are asked to attend:

  • Collaborative Leadership Workshop (and Coaching Mixer)—Wednesday, Oct. 6 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
  • ELP Graduation—Wednesday, Dec. 8 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Many ELP participants find their leadership coach to be one of the most beneficial components of the program. Interested in becoming a coach? Fill out the application.
