Apply now to host Class of 2018 orientation program

Case Western Reserve University orientation events provide new undergraduate students an important opportunity learn more about the resources, programs and activities available at Case Western Reserve, as well as a chance to discover the rich traditions and diverse opportunities our campus offers. To that end, your office, organization or department is encouraged to participate in our new students’ introduction to campus by hosting a program, workshop or presentation for the Class of 2018 during their first days as Case Western Reserve students.

Those interested in participating are asked to describe their program by completing this online application by Friday, March 7. Selections will be made based on this rubric to ensure a variety of programming and to confirm programs support the mission of New Student Orientation.

Those selected will be notified by Friday, March 21, and will work with a member of the Office of First-Year Experience and Family Programs to facilitate coordination of the program. Chosen programs will be offered in a conference-style format between Wednesday, Aug. 20, and Sunday, Aug. 24.

Offices, departments and organizations are encouraged to work with others around campus to present on similar topics or ideas.

If you have questions or would like assistance collaborating with others on campus to create an orientation event, contact Amanda McCarthy at 368.1352 or orientation@case.edu.
