The Wall Street Trek is an opportunity to explore career opportunities in finance and related areas in New York City. The Wall Street Trek program involves in-person (on-campus) and virtual individual meetings and panel discussions with a broad range of institutions and alumni across many facets of the financial world. While many of the meetings will be with professionals in financial roles, many also will be in cutting-edge roles in technological innovation, research and other areas.
First-years, sophomores and juniors of any discipline are encouraged to apply, with priority given to first-year students and sophomores.
The deadline to apply to go on the trek is Sunday, Jan. 21, at 5 p.m. To be considered, students will need to enroll in a 1.5-credit hour pass/fail class offered by Professor Scott Fine. The class will run Mondays in the spring semester from 7:45 to 9:15 p.m. starting the third week of classes (Monday, Feb. 5). The application process is now open; batches of applicants will be processed as they come in.
The CWRU Undergraduate Wall Street Trek is a collaboration between alumni, University Relations, the Career Center, Weatherhead Undergraduate & Integrated Studies and Professor Scott Fine.
Those with questions about the application process or the class and trek are encouraged to contact Laura Papcum at laura.papcum@case.edu or Scott Fine at scott.fine@case.edu.
