Applications are now live for 2018-2019 Graduate Staff positions in the Office of Residence Life! We are currently recruiting for both the 2018-2019 Academic Year Assistant Residential College/Community Director (ARCD) positions and the Summer 2018 Assistant Residential Community Director (ARCD) position. We are looking for some qualified candidates for next year and do not recruit from any specific programs at CWRU, you just need to be enrolled in a degree-seeking graduate program.

Assistant Residential College/Community Director (FYE, SYE, UCE) – 2018-2019 Academic Year:

The Assistant Residential College/Community Director (ARCD) are 10-month live-in position that supports the creation and facilitation of an integrated residential learning environment, working through the mission and goals of the Office of Residence Life and the Division of Student Affairs. This embedded position works with their Residential College/Community Director (RCD) supervisor to provide comprehensive leadership and support for a community of residential students. Immersed in the student community, the ARCD and RCD actively manage the learning experience at both the community and individual level, monitoring and supporting students’ holistic academic, social, and personal development.

Assistant Residential Community Director (Summer Experience) – Summer 2018:

The Assistant Residential Community Director (ARCD) for the Summer Experience is a 14-week live-on position that supports the creation and facilitation of an integrated residential learning environment for students living in summer housing. This embedded position works with their Residential Community Director (RCD) supervisor to provide comprehensive leadership, support, and operational management for a community of approximately 300 undergraduate students. Immersed in the student community, the ARCD actively manages the learning experience at both the community and individual level, monitoring and supporting students’ holistic academic, social, and personal development throughout their experience in summer housing.
