Faculty members from across the university are invited to apply to become University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (UCITE) Learning Fellows for the Spring 2016 semester. UCITE Learning Fellowships are available to Case Western Reserve University faculty—tenure track or not—each spring semester and are designed to give faculty an opportunity to meet with peers from throughout the university to explore how people learn, and then apply this knowledge to their own courses.
The deadline for applications has been extended to Monday, Oct. 26. Each program offers a grant for $2,500 upon successful completion of the program,
The structure of the program is a semester-long seminar in which faculty meet once a week to discuss research literature on learning and practical strategies that enhance student learning
Meetings will take place each Wednesday Jan. 13-April 20 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the Allen Memorial Library Building’s Herrick Room. Lunch will be provided at each session. There will be no session on March 9 due to Spring Break.
