Apply for the UCITE Learning Fellows Program: Final call for fall 2022

A few spaces are still available in the fall cohort of the University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education’s (UCITE) Learning Fellows program. The principal goal of the program is to provide teaching faculty members with a learning community of peer colleagues and a common meeting time to explore the art and science of how people learn.

The semester-long seminar program meets once a week to engage in activities and to discuss readings that focus on innovative teaching practices. In each session, participants will consider innovative best practices that can be applied within classroom environments to enhance student engagement and learning.

The fellowships are available to part-time, full-time, non-tenure-track and tenure-track teaching faculty. The fall 2022 cohort will meet in person each Thursday from 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. from Sept. 1 through Dec. 8.

Faculty members who complete the 14-week program will receive a $2,000 grant for academic purposes.

Applications must be in on or before Friday, Aug. 26. Learn more about the application process
