Apply for grant funds to support K-12 engineering, science programs

The Gelfand Engineering and Technology Education Fund in the Case School of Engineering has made funds available to support activities and training for pre-K-12 teachers and students to promote engineering and science educational programming. The education fund is part of the Leonard Gelfand STEM Center, a collaboration between the engineering school and the College of Arts and Sciences.

All Case Western Reserve University faculty, staff and student groups are eligible to apply for the grant money. Grant amounts will vary and will be awarded based on the proposed activity and its alignment to the fund’s goals. Applicants do not have to come from a science or engineering background; rather, it is an opportunity for individuals or groups who are not necessarily in a science field but are interested in outreach to partner with friends or organizations geared toward engineering and the sciences.

To request the use of the funds and for more information regarding the grant process, proposal criteria and funding availability, visit gelfand.case.edu and look under the “Highlights” section.
