The Center for Civic Engagement & Learning (CCEL) is recruiting first- and second-year undergraduate students to participate as CCEL Fellows during spring semester 2016.
Students selected as fellows will be placed with a local nonprofit to serve about three hours per week.
While serving in the community, fellows also attend regular seminars to increase their understanding of community issues and build civic leadership skills.
The theme of the 2016 CCEL Fellows program is “Education,” so all fellows will work with youth at their sites while exploring more about education and youth development through seminar discussions.
Fellows receive a stipend of $9.20 per hour for time spent at their community partner sites.
Applications are available online and due by Sunday, Nov. 22.
