Case Western Reserve University undergraduate students (including incoming first-years) interested in entrepreneurship, innovation, public speaking and/or business case development should consider applying to represent CWRU at the fourth annual Entrepreneurship Immersion Week.
Presented by the Entrepreneurship Education Consortium (EEC) and sponsored by the Burton D. Morgan Foundation, Entrepreneurship Immersion Week provides mentor-based learning, allowing undergraduates from all disciplines to acquire skills to conceive and pitch a business concept.
Each of the 11 EEC schools form and send teams to participate in the weeklong residential camp, culminating in a business concept competition, which offers $8,000 in prizes.
This year’s host school is University of Mount Union, located 65 miles southeast of Cleveland, in Alliance, Ohio.
In addition to potential competition awards, accommodations, meals and all materials are provided at no cost to participants. The event offers networking opportunities with faculty, entrepreneurs and investors
Potential participants in Entrepreneurship Immersion Week must be available to attend and participate in the entire residential event, from Sunday, July 31, through Friday, August 5.
The application is available online. The deadline to apply is June 24 at 5 p.m.
