Applications now open for Social Justice Institute Postdoctoral Scholar Fellowship and 2024-2025 Research funding

The Social Justice Institute (SJI) at CWRU strives to examine the root causes of social injustice and develop innovative solutions by supporting creative research, scholarship, and pedagogy; social justice leaders on and off campus; and relationships within the university and into the community.

SJI is currently inviting applications for a postdoctoral scholar fellowship in social justice. The position is a two-year grant funded postdoctoral scholar fellowship under the direction of Professor Ayesha Bell Hardaway, effective Fall 2024.

This fellowship will focus on developing the next generation of social justice leaders and will emphasize evidence-based research, mentoring, and community building.

As part of its mission to create a more just world, the Social Justice Institute also gives out funding to Research Fellowship proposals whose work seeks to help advance its mission.

The application period for SJI’s 2024-2025 research grants is open March 1 through March 29.
