Anthropology’s Vanessa Hildebrand to offer cross-cultural perspective on mothering at MOMS meeting

Moms Offering Moms Support (MOMS) will host an information session with a cross-cultural cultural perspective on mothering, parenting and childcare with Vanessa Hildebrand, assistant professor of anthropology.

The session, which was rescheduled from a canceled event in February, will be held Friday, May 22, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248.

Hildebrand will discuss her research and work with mothers in Indonesia.

MOMS meetings are open to all pregnant women and mothers who are faculty, staff, students, retired former Case Western Reserve Unversity employees and Case Western Reserve alumnae. This group is made possible through the support of Mim Rosenthal and Nancy K. Johnson.

Lunch will be provided at the event. Registration is available online.
