The Connor Integrative Medicine Network at University Hospitals once again will offer its yoga classes at a discounted price for Case Western Reserve University employees, students and volunteers.
There will be two kinds of yoga classes offered. The hatha yoga class focuses on building strength and flexibility through a variety of yoga poses. It runs Tuesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. in Lerner Tower, room 2060.
The gentle hatha yoga class incorporates breathing and meditative practices along with standing, seated and reclining poses. Classes will be held Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Lerner Tower, room 2060.
Bring a mat and water to the class. Prior yoga experience is helpful but not necessary.
Purchase a four-class pass for $40 (expires three months from date of purchase) or drop in to a single class for $15. Call 216.767.8435 today to register. The first class is free for newcomers.
Dawn Miller, a yoga therapist and registered yoga teacher in the Viniyoga tradition at the E-RYT 200 and RYT 500 hour levels, will teach the classes. She works with clients privately in therapeutic yoga sessions at Connor Integrative Medicine Network at University Hospitals and teaches group classes for workplace wellness programs.
