Announcing “Spartan Stories”: Daily features on CWRU athletes, teams and alumni

While athletics at Case Western Reserve University might be on hold for now, athletics.case.edu will provide a new way for Spartan fans to follow the program. For the remainder of the spring and into the summer, the official website of Spartan Athletics will feature “Spartan Stories,” a series of daily features on teams, athletes and alumni to allow fans to keep up with their favorite teams.

Fans can look forward to seeing the following features on athletics.case.edu each week:

Monday: Students, Athletes, Spartans

The student-athletes at Case Western Reserve accomplish incredible things athletically and academically. Each Monday, we highlight a different student-athlete’s achievements, along with what they do outside the academic and athletic realm that makes them stand out.

Tuesday: Spartan Check-Ins

On Tuesday’s, we will post video conversations with our student-athletes, as they talk about various topics, including their experience at CWRU, what they are doing while they are at home and their plans for the future.

Wednesday: Senior Features

Throughout the next few months, we talk to a number of our seniors and ask them to tell us their stories. We will relay those stories to you each Wednesday via a written feature.

Thursday: Top Moments of 2019-20

Every Thursday, we will relive some of the great moments from each team during the 2019-20 year with a special video feature, recapping the performances.

Friday: 50 Years of Spartans

With next year marking the 50 years of athletic competition at CWRU, we will interview alumni throughout the school’s history on their experience at the university and what they have done since their time as athletes. These video interviews will be posted each Friday. These features will be posted daily to athletics.case.edu, as well as to our various social media accounts, including @caseathletics on both Twitter and Facebook. In addition, athletics.case.edu will continue to serve as the hub for all news and information on CWRU athletics.
