Christian Science Monitor: Glyptodonts, prehistoric creatures that look very similar to armadillos only much larger, were placed in the armadillo family based on a new study.  Though not involved in the study Darin Croft, associate professor of anatomy, talked about some potential reasons armadillos and glyptodonts could differ so greatly in size.
