Anatomy’s Darin Croft comments on finding of unknown mammalian fossils

Case Western Reserve team discovers two extinct mammals in Bolivia

The Plain Dealer: After the discovery of two previously unknown species of hoofed mammals through their 13-million-year-old fossils, anatomy professor Darin Croft talked about the findings. The mammals likely disappeared about 12,000 years ago, meaning “Humans undoubtedly saw the last members of this group,” Croft said.
