Every four years, Ohio hosts a collection of political pundits parachuting in to gauge the pulse of the “heart of it all” in the run-up to the presidential election. Amidst this circus, what’s the casual observer to make of the battles raging for control of state capitols, Congress and even the White House? Join two Case Western alumni working on the front lines as they cut through the noise of the 2016 election and beyond.
The Department of Political Science will host Jerid Kurtz (CWR ’05) and Brittany Williams (CWR ’05, LAW ‘09) for a joint lecture titled “View from the Trenches: An insider’s guide to the 2016 election and beyond.”
This lecture will be held Friday, Nov. 6, at 4:30 pm. in Tinkham Veale University Center’s Senior Classroom.
Kurtz is campaign manager for assemblymen Herb Conaway and Troy Singleton in New Jersey and campaign communications director for Anthony Brown’s run for governor in Maryland.
Williams is the senior project manager for the Cleveland 2016 host committee for the Republican National Convention.
This lecture is open to the public.
