The College of Arts and Sciences, Case School of Engineering and Post-Graduate Planning and Experiential Education are collaborating to host a four-part Alumni Insight Speaker Series. The series will feature honest conversations with alumni as they share their stories about getting started post-graduation, overcoming obstacles, embracing setbacks and achieving their goals.
A discussion titled “Creating Opportunities” will be held Thursday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m.
In this conversation, alumnae Liz Hill (CWR ’97, GRS ’97) and Suzette Dutch (WRC ’74) will share advice about creating opportunities in your career journey. They will share stories and reflections of their own experiences in this engaging discussion.

About the speakers
Liz Hill is a superior court judge in San Mateo, California, where she hears criminal cases and sits as supervising judge in the South San Francisco branch courthouse. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science at Case Western Reserve and a JD from Stanford Law School.
Suzette Dutch is managing partner of Triathlon Medical Ventures and has 20 years venture investing and 10 years operating experience in pharmaceuticals, surgical devices and diagnostics. She earned an MBA from the Wharton School in finance and decision science and a bachelor’s in economics from Case Western Reserve University.
