Advancing Together: See Case Western Reserve’s 2019–20 annual report

Whether transforming class formats in a matter of days or discovering and dating the bones of one of the earliest human ancestors, reconstructing a young man’s face after a terrorist attack or engineering new solutions amid the pandemic, Case Western Reserve’s greatest progress nearly always comes when teams—from across campus and beyond—unite.

The university’s 2019–20 annual report, Advancing Together, highlights just a few of the many examples of collaboration and interdisciplinarity prevalent across this institution—even when individuals may be physically apart.

As Case Western Reserve prepares for yet another semester amid the challenges of the pandemic, it’s worth remembering how the entire campus community adapted to COVID-19 when it first arrived in Ohio.

And, with the hope that two new vaccines (and others in process) offer for an eventual return to some form of normalcy, we also welcome reminders of all that our community accomplished last year before the pandemic arrived.

To see some of the highlights of 2019–20, plus campus statistics, research and technology highlights, financial insights and more, read the annual report online at case.edu/advancingtogether, or download the print version as a PDF.
