The Office of Student Activities and Leadership is offering a series of programs to give students the opportunity to discover and apply their strengths through StrengthsQuest.
StrengthsQuest is a tool that gives students the chance to develop strengths by building on what they do best—the way they most naturally think, feel and behave as a unique individual.
Strengths 101 sessions will be held throughout next week (Feb. 6–9). Learn more about those sessions.
An advanced series of workshops also will be held:
- Organization/team workshop: Sunday, Feb. 12, from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center Student Organization Center;
- Strengths and wellness: Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Residence Hall multipurpose room;
- Strengths 4.0: strengths and academics: Thursday, Feb. 16, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Nord Hall, Room 356;
- Organization/team workshop: Sunday, Feb. 19, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center Student Organization Center;
- GCAS Professional Development Series (for graduate students): Monday, Feb. 20, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Thwing Center ballroom;
- Identity crossing: strengths quest and identities: Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Nord Hall, Room 356
- Writing your strengths: Thursday, Feb. 23, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Thwing Center, Room 101
- Communicating your strengths: Friday, Feb. 24, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in Nord Hall, Room 356

The 30-minute online Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment has international presence as a talent measurement instrument and has helped students at more than 600 schools and universities to:
- Discover and develop their greatest natural talents to progress to levels of personal excellence;
- Improve their grades and increase their learning by making the most of their talents;
- Determine a rewarding career path based on their unique strengths; and
- Apply their talents in leadership, service, and relationship building of all types.
This program is open to all undergraduate and graduate students as part of StrengthsMonth.
