Case Western Reserve University’s Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing and Sarah Cole Hirsh Institute will host the Advanced Management Issues in HIV Care Conference Oct. 5-6 at Cuyahoga Community College’s Corporate College East (4400 Richmond Road, Warrensville Heights).
This year’s event will focus on primary prevention issues and the advanced management issues of caring for people with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
Thomas Quinn, associate director of international research in the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases’ Division of Intramural Research, director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health and a professor of medicine at Johns Hopkins University, will give the keynote address. His talk, “Getting to U=U and Control of the HIV Pandemic,” will take place Thursday, Oct. 5, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
This conference is geared toward physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, nurses, social workers and other healthcare professionals who have an interest in HIV care.
