The Sarah Cole Hirsh Institute, Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing and Cleveland Clinic will host the Advanced Management Issues in HIV Care Conference Sept. 26–27, 2024 at Corporate College East (4400 Richmond Road, Warrensville Heights).
The conference will focus on primary prevention issues and the advanced management issues of caring for people with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
H. Clifford Lane, clinical director and deputy director for clinical research and special projects for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), will give the keynote address, titled “45 Years of HIV Research: The Past, the Present and the Future” Thursday, Sept. 26, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The full-day conference will continue Friday, Sept. 27.
This conference is geared toward physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, nurses, social workers and other healthcare professionals who have an interest in HIV care.
