Advance your career with help from the Professional Development Center

The Professional Development Center aims to provide Case Western Reserve University employees with comprehensive, high-quality learning and development resources that advance the performance of the individual and the university. The center’s staff is available to support staff in achieving their professional development goals.

The Professional Development Center’s (PDC) training workshops are back. The center will offer more than 40 opportunities for staff members to learn with us this fall. View the calendar of available sessions on the PDC website.

For more information and to register, visit the HR Professional Development Center on CampusGroups.

Those who are interested in earning the Employee Supervision Certificate also are encouraged to brush up on program requirements.

Additionally, career development consultations are available year round. These consultations are for staff to work with the PDC’s career development manager in a one-on-one capacity on a variety of topics. These confidential meetings can help staff members prepare for difficult conversations, receive assistance with performance evaluations and self-assessments, work on skills such as time management and organization, and more.
