The Adelbert Road Bridge will close for a week starting at 7 a.m. tomorrow (Friday, July 28). Those coming from the south to the university’s main campus are advised to take either Cornell Road or Martin Luther King Boulevard during this time.
The closure is required for completion of necessary utilities work for the Medical Center Company (MCCo), which serves much of University Circle—including Case Western Reserve and University Hospitals.
The Adelbert Road Bridge is scheduled to reopen at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4.
In addition, a portion of Circle Drive will close at 7 a.m. Aug. 7 to allow continuation of the required utilities work for MCCo. This closure will extend from the area where Adelbert Road and Circle Drive intersect to a driveway just east of the MCCo building itself. This work is expected to last a month, allowing Circle Drive to reopen by 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8.
