Written by philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre in 1942, Les Jeux Sont Faits is a tale of love and betrayal across life and death. Translated into English and adapted for stage for the first time, the Players’ Theater Group will present a staged reading of this “new old story,” unique among Sartre’s literary works.
Case Western Reserve University community members are welcome to attend the free reading Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 6 p.m. in Nord Hall, Room 212. There will be food at the event.
Individuals also can volunteer to read a part.
