Active bystander training: “Disrupting the Culture of Violence”

The Flora Stone Mather Center for Women will host “Disrupting the Culture of Violence,” active bystander training, Monday, Dec. 6, from noon to 1 p.m. This session will be held virtually.

This violence prevention training is a skill-building opportunity from the Mather Center’s It’s On CWRU campaign to end power-based personal violence (including, but not limited to, sexual assault, stalking, personal violence) on our campus and beyond.

This session will go over the 5Ds of Bystander Intervention and participants will practice how to intervene in situations. The goal of this program is to provide members of the campus community with tools and strategies to step in, step up, and help stop power-based personal violence in our community.

Register to participate.
