Accountancy’s David Jones presents on client advocacy by tax practitioners

David JonesDavid Jones, associate professor of accountancy, presented “The Devil and the Deep Seas: An Empirical Analysis of Client Advocacy and Government Fidelity by Tax Practitioners” at the American Accounting Association’s Behavioral Tax Symposium at George Mason University this summer.

Earlier this year, Jones was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honorary Fraternity. Jones serves as faculty adviser for Beta Alpha Psi, a national honor organization for financial information students and professionals; faculty director of the undergraduate accounting program, and undergraduate curriculum committee chairperson for accountancy.
