The end of the calendar year may have big parties and the ball drop at Times Square.
But the end of the fiscal year—which, for Case Western Reserve, is June 30—never has sub-zero temperatures or snowfall measured in feet.
And so, as the 2014–15 fiscal year comes to a close, the daily thought today marked an apt time to look back on the last dozen months—and, more specifically, to celebrate some of its most memorable moments.
Below is our video chronicle, offered with two caveats. First, no compilation can begin to capture every highlight of the past 52 weeks, 365 days, 8,760 hours or 525,600 minutes. We could have prepared 10 more pieces and still not come close to capturing all of the extraordinary achievements of the academic year. This is a best effort, then, but by no means an exhaustive one.
Second, may the scenes that follow prompt smiles, cheers and, most of all, new determination to make 2015-2016 even better. The first day of fall classes is 55 days away. Enjoy the summer—and this look back at fall, winter and spring.
